Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using a specialized application. You can save maps of your home, create cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also adjust the suction power, and how much water your mop consumes.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgA mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over wires, furniture or other toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is the highest power of any vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on an object.

The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad for deep cleaning. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It has an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag for dirt, fills up the water tank to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It also has a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. In addition it's not as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it seem more a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. Its roller runs almost the full width of the bot and is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic hoovers vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this could be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides many functions at a affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the best robot vacuum and mop's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a good bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is dense, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area mapped by this device or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

This device has a major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
