The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you should select if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other options on this list making it easier to navigate through tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last for up to 170 mins when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery midway through a clean.

It's efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one sweep. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt as well as pet hair and droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help pull away debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, but not by a lot. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be employed to clean larger objects, such as broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tested. It doesn't make as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It's easy to install and performs well, but this is something that you'll have to be aware of if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.

The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the home and identify furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean efficiently and effectively. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning and is also quick.

In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can reach an array of surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other difficult to reach areas. However, it's important to keep in mind that it has periodic costs in the form of mopping equipment and maintenance. For example brushrolls need to be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter must be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad needs to be replaced every three to six months.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it can handle both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two modules, a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping unit that has a microfiber pad. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming may appear a bit dated however, they mean that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refueling the tank with water.

Our test subjects discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our test, but it has some unique features that make it worth a look. The base comes with a few control buttons, which allow you to manually begin a cleaning task, recall the robot or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to switch on a child lock, which is a nice feature for parents who are worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally become so entangled with obstacles, like the power cord that is draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. While it was not common, it was a frustrating experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni does not come with a "stuck" status alert on its app.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between use. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome view in a market which is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
