You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust the settings for each room of your home.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between laminate, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can even skip mopping in rooms that aren't filthy. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings through the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to navigate around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It can't pick the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we've test.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did very well overall.
