If you're looking to tidy up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the best way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It is equipped with the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up pet hair and human dander almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a miniature map of your home and a few buttons on the screen for manual control.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

The mop's roller has several other clever features, such as docks that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to clean and wash it without having to manually refill the mop. You can even use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping capabilities that are offered at a lower price than the competition.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves establishing an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot is able to begin cleaning and mopping easily.

It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process could take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your room. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels that it had to flip over to free itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for a cleaning companion that does everything.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbing. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can get to places robot vacuums can't.

This model is nearly identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional features that are smart. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's environment and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you customize the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and autonomous vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place debris in the self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum cleaner reviews vacuum and mop model that offers impressive features at affordable prices. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also features a unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt and deposit it into the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology was effective and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing and staying clear of stairs. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and wasn't always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, and it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than other models.

Like many robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on an ongoing basis. You can control all its functions using the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of configurability.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available that are available. It delivers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with a reasonable accuracy. The app lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, and even alter the cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are near soft surfaces to avoid contamination.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they need to be empty.

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this robot vacuum that vacuums and mops is a slick job at keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create an outline of your home which allows it to know where not to go. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike most vacuums.

Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and customize the settings for each room in your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your house and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features, this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice when you're looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular daily maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It is surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains quicker than other models we tried.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers an impressive suction and easy automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for carpeted rooms. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in cramped areas. It's extremely silent and fast and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.

It is capable of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bot's bottom, and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
