It also comes with 11 height adjustments that let it fit the mattress of almost every size bed. Additionally, it includes adjustable folding feet to ensure that it's placed at just the right height.

The cot is cushioned and has mesh sides that allow for more ventilation, and its mattress is made of high-density foam for extra protection. It can also be cleaned and you can keep the cot clean. It is fitted with a mattress sheet that is suitable for the crib.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that although this crib is ideal for babies, it won't last long after your child is six months old, so you'll have to purchase an additional cot. But, in general Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she was particularly impressed by its sleek design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna considered to be a reasonable price for a cot with these innovative features. She liked how it was positioned in her bedroom and thought its gray color would be appropriate for most modern homes. However, she did point that it's not a great idea to rock a young baby, as it can create the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning crib for bed designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your child in the evening without disturbing them or forcing them out of the bed. This is perfect for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.

We love that it's made from soft materials with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and ease of use. It is available in charcoal or oak and various melange fabrics that can be incorporated with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed, with the legs securely snapping into the bed and the zips secured for baby-safety. It took her around 10 minutes to put together and did not require tools, and comes with clear instructions and a video or customer support number if you encounter any issues.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a crib that is bedside that include the ability to connect to your existing bed using a stay-in-place connection system and six levels of height The CoZee also comes with an additional incline option that can be used to alleviate reflux or congestion in infants. It's also machine-washable, a must with all the dribble, vomit and snot that comes with having a baby!

The CoZee is a great option to keep your child close during their first six months of acquiring the ability to sleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. It can even be converted into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. Although it can't magically put your baby bedside crib to sleep or feed them, it will rock the baby and take them to school.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's most expensive models, but it is packed with lots of features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib, and is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is simple to use even with one hand. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as retractable feet for a secure installation under any bed.

Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel, which can be lowered and raised at the touch of one button. This was particularly useful in the evening when feeding time was over, since they could reach inside and pick their baby up without waking them.

It is possible to lower the side panel it's own, however this is not recommended, as it increases the risk that your child could fall out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This is an excellent feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent feedings at night.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to work with any bed that includes divan bases as well as beds with drawers, thanks to the legs that telescopic. It also comes with tilting functions to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode to help them sleep after feeding. It's also very spacious and provides excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.

Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it does have quite a long instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's easily moved from one area to another. It's small enough to fit into a travel bag when not in use which is a plus when you have to transport it. The only negative our testers found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to observe your baby from the bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air best bedside cot crib is a great choice when you're looking for a crib that grows with your child. It's a co-sleeping crib that attaches securely to your bed and can be transformed into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. Perfect for nighttime feedings and enhancing the bond you have with your new born.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, not like other models. Its dual-view mesh sides and airflow mattress that is breathable and hypoallergenic maximize airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline option helps to reduce colic and reflux, while the zip down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby during the night.

The kit for converting cots is also well designed, with clear instructions. It comes with everything you need. It took us about an hour to assemble and was reasonably straightforward. The only issue with the instructions was that a few images were not captioned. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. Overall, it was a simple process and the quality of the materials used was excellent.

In co-sleeping mode we found the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a c-section because it lets them easily reach out to their baby to feed and comfort them without having to get up from their own bed. It's also great for parents who wish to avoid the difficulty of getting into and out of a traditional cot or placing their child down for a nap.

The gliding motion was found to be very helpful in lulling babies into sleep following meals at midday or night. The drop-down side makes it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a major selling point for our tired moms who took part in our tests. While it doesn't rock or have extra features like an audio system the Joie Roomie Glide's sleek design and functional features are a welcome addition to our top bedside cot sale crib reviews.
