Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgMost robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an app that can save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping function can help your robot vacuums that mop navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These are essential features for my house, filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, so it is naturally packed with features. It can sweep and mop in one session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pet toys plants, a variety of small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is more than any best robot vacuum that mops vacuum we have examined so far. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter which lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

Additionally in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it started to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've tried.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's expensive. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. The high price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my tests, it was able to perform very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift long hair without knots. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I've test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned, and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads, which are bought separately are required to be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tighter budget, I suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while enjoying clean hands at your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop mop and robotic vacuum you can buy but its high cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your floors while cleaning up wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot and is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a space and navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers many functions at a a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is complex, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The default pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be an issue for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last remnants of debris and dust that you've left behind from the vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
