Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The Upgrade is made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the type of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide bonus effects or attribute bonuses when the equipment is used. The equipment being upgraded must have an available upgrade slot to accommodate the component, and the majority of upgrade components require the item upgrader mod being upgraded to be at a certain level. Some upgrade components have special effects that appear when they are used. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, purchased from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or used to repair equipment, or obtained as rewards in games.

There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment; they provide less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enhancements can be utilized on certain back equipment that has been ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are slotted into an item, but doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.

Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item upgrades while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia will change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures and fractions, ornaments, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you insert and examine these special characters as well as standard symbols such as em and en dashes, as well being trademark symbols registered to be used.

Each Glyph gives a character a boost in their primary stats. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the item you have selected. You are only able to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item upgrader kit you have selected. Every weapon, jewelry, or armor piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be improved by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the area is, the greater Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15, it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide its stated bonus and will also boost the other nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your build, and that is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are fulfilled, so they're worth looking out for too.

If you're having difficulty finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of different views. Each of these views will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further using an option below "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs; Math symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves establishing a new account in order to increase your chances of obtaining the weapon or character you want. It is done to to level up faster, or to obtain better loot such as the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players will repeat the roll until the character they desire is available, regardless of its ability. This could be because they like the design or their personality.

It is important to make clean changes every time you roll back. You should verify locally to see if the patch passes pre-commit and run a core dev check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue using plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).

Rerolls could take days or weeks to complete, depending on the luck you have. To cut down on time avoid enemy camps that are optional during this time. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests that you can complete later in the game. This can save you time and energy.

Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is making sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance as well as power. This includes upgrading your weapons as well as rerolling your characters and buying upgrades. It is also important to be aware of the limitations of the system.

Rerolling isn't a required element of the game but it can be helpful to increase the chances of winning a specific character or weapon. You can use it to determine which character is the Best item upgrader or to experiment with different playstyles and builds.

Sets

A set is an object collection having 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets can be used to perform operations such as intersection, union, and difference.

Upgrades make a set more effective than it was prior to. For armor and weapons this means that it gets an increase in the base defense as well as a lower strength requirement and a lower requirement for level.

Upgrading can be an excellent way to bring popular single-set items to parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired helmet can boost the defense from 217 up to 321 and lower the strength and requirements for level to an feasible range.

It is important to keep in mind that not all items in the set are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff are already exceptional and elite in their own right and do not require upgrading. Certain items, like Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may require an upgrade to boost their performance. For such items, it could be worth the cost to upp them.
