The EV Star REEFERX is designed to be used for mid-to-last mile refrigerated delivery and catering. The refrigerated trucks of class 4 with a single wall structure inside and higher insulation than traditional trucks, allow for seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer life span. The EV Star REEFERX has a higher capacity for cargo and an industry-leading payload to reach the range of zero-emission goods or passenger transportation.

GreenPower has joined forces with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system. This will allow fleets to quickly transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be able of wireless charging at 75 kW.

We had the opportunity to test drive the EV9 for several hours on a local highway and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The ride is smooth on ruts and bumps, while the EV9 does a great job of suppressing road noise and wind on the highway. The vehicle's acceleration is surprising quick, and it features adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by taking off the accelerator.

The EV9 provides a large range and can be recharged in just three hours or less at home, or by using any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes - eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode focuses on the green power scooters and cruise control, as well as handling while sport mode maximizes speed. Both modes are fun to drive, and offer a unique experience for those who haven't been in a vehicle with an electrical system before.
