The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model to select if you're looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models which makes it more maneuverable in tight corners or under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuum best vacuums. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through a clean.

It's extremely fast and does an excellent job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one sweep. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to clean dirt as well as pet hair and droppings easily. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the dual side brushes help pull away debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The rotating mop spins at a high rate and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into narrow corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning robot mop and vacuum solution to perform its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to install and works well however this is something that you'll have to be aware of when you purchase this vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a wide range of features.

The device is equipped with a powerful cleaning system that incorporates LiDAR sensor technology and an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the home and also identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and methodically. This will ensure an even and thorough clean and is also rapid.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other difficult to reach spots. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor close to the walls or other fixtures. In addition the mop pads can be washed and dried to prevent build-up and reduce the smell.

App-based customization is a different interesting feature. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the suction strength and select a back-and forth or slightly random pattern. You can also alter the number of passes it should make, which will determine the speed at which the device can move through your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.

This device has a fairly expensive price tag, but it comes with a large selection of innovative features. It is important to note, however, that the device incurs regular expenses, such as mopping supplies and regular maintenance. For example the brushroll needs to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to 12 months. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad must be replaced every one to three months.

This robotic vacuum cleaner is rated highly on Amazon and includes a broad range of physical automation features. It has an energy button that serves as a general "Clean' button and a 'Home button that sends it back to its base station after completing the cleaning process. It also has a multifunctional dock that automatically empties the trash bin and refills its water tank for mopping and washes and dries its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good option for busy professionals or anyone who needs to keep their home clean without spending too much time on chores. It's a top-performing device, intelligent navigation, and long battery life that makes it easy to keep your home tidy with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it is able to handle mopping and vacuuming. The robot is divided into two components that include a dry bin as well as a water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping module that includes an elastomer pad. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping, but it does mean that you don't have to worry about changing out disposable bags or refilling the tank with water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming as well as mopping. Its best feature is its precise floorplan map, which it utilizes when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate effortlessly through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app also gives you the option of setting 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers, which help to protect certain areas of your home from being swept with a mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at picking up hair of pets. It was able to capture many of the hair sheds from our cats. It even got into the corners and crevices of our stairs where other robots struggled. The noise levels of the robot were low, and there were some nice jingles to let you know that it was in the process of working towards its goal.

The app was too easy and you had to switch the modules each time you switched between vacuuming and mops. The app doesn't have the capacity to store multiple maps, which can be a problem when you live in a house that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who are looking for a smart device that can mop and vacuum.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it has certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's main draw is its huge dock that doubles as a charging base as well as housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically emptys.

The base also comes with a set of control buttons that let you manually start cleaning or recall the robot or run the dock's auto vacuum and mop-emptying process. Press two of the buttons to turn off the child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognizing objects.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it is entangled in a blockage like a power cable draped over a rug. It won't function until you manually untangle it. This was a rare incident however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its application.

Another possible issue is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during a cleaning session. You will need to manually switch between the two, which isn't a big deal except for the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use and can cause mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a huge contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for the market that is dominated by boxy units.
