The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms, as well as large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and was able to cross thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.

The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuum reviews vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that extend across baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than its competitors however, and tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also features an automatic vacuum cleaner water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't remove cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home, which will allow it to enter places that other vacuums can't reach. It also has the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs.
