World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items are an essential aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your Best item upgrader and enchantments.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They can be purchased through the Blacksmith.

The upgrade button is located on any item. Every recycled Best item upgrader adds one level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapon

When an item is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional benefits. These upgrades can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, or gathering tools, and they generally require the equipment to have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it is able to be upgraded with a different one, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool for an item.

In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded by adding an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times depending on the weapon's level.

Once the weapon has reached max upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase certain stats or add bonuses and effects. Many of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects vary depending on the rarity of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify standard weapons.

Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading any other gear. This helps maximize DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments, which can be extremely effective in boosting the weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

Best Item Upgrade Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain pieces of armor weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, in loot drops, or as quest rewards.

The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time the armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. The majority of armor types can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.

Most armor upgrades offer a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. Certain upgrades, however, can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is particularly relevant when upgrading epic items.

Certain upgrades offer special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, such as giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades can have passive effects that are useful for example, reducing damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.

Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item upgrade may require multiple tries. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt will result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor with an initial defense range of between 67 and 77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The fact of the matter is that some armors have very significant increases in poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, which makes them extremely useful for certain builds. There are other ways to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce total weight.

Potion

By placing a potion on the stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated for more tiers of potency.

The potions also gain an individual color, which can be set by the player using the /give. The color will affect the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions, as well as awkward potions, now have a different the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness are now available. In addition, there are lingering potions that can be prepared by using Dragon breath or splash potions. Also added is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Problems related to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.

Trinket

A trinket can be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace or even a tiny flag to identify a vessel's yard that is lateen. It can also be a gilded trinket that is attached to the mast of a boat.

This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze which makes them more prevalent. This trinket, at the moment, makes all types of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor a probability of Y% that it will contain an ebony copy. Upgrades to this trinket cost a small amount of energy.

The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to alter the dungeon's environment and increase the likelihood of producing water and grass. At its current level, this trinket makes X% of floors become filled with water or grass but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to aid in the elimination of hazards.

While it appears like an ordinary eye of a newt, this mystical item level upgrade seems to affect your vision in ways beyond merely reducing your field of view. At its current level this trinket can increase the total health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X% and grants mind the ability to see enemies within the Y tiles. This does not stack with Heightened Senses.

After completing the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will cause an unintended impact on the trinket either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as often as you'd like but it will always be able to produce an effect that is new.

You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by just a little.
